Hattie and Maddie . . . two peas in a pod . . .

Last weekend - we had a little "Hattie Bird" photo shoot . . .

at our studio here on Bainbridge Island!

We invited Hattie's friend Maddie to join us . . .

and I am soooo glad we did as it was a TON of fun!!

These two girls have been friends for a very, very long time now . . .

they are two peas in a pod . . .

and share the same energy . . . and zest - for life!!

When I told Hattie that miss Maddie would be joining us . . .

she squealed with delight!!

 

It didn't take long at all - before Maddie joined in on all the fun . . .

with a bit of twirling . . .

 and a bit of jumping . . .

and of course - a bit of silliness . . .

this being one of my favorite photos of the day!! :)



But - more than just about anything . . .

I think they loved being together . . .
smiling . . . and laughing . . . and playing . . .

When we were all finished . . .
we went out for ice cream . . . and then to a local park to play!!

Hattie said to me that evening . . .

"today was one of the best play-dates ever!!!"

I couldn't have agreed more!!

Miss Posie . . .

I would like to introduce you to this darling young girl . . .

her name is . . . Posie!!

and Yes - I LOVE her name . . . and yes - it fits her perfectly!!!

Posie came with her sweet family to a Vintage Market this summer . . .

and went home with one of our garden dresses . . .
and also our very first piece from our Fall Collection . . .

A Navy Plaid Coat in a Cotton / Wool Blend with a Cream Hemp lining as shown above!

Watching her look at the clothes . . . and pick a few of her favorites . . .

you could tell she already has a real love for fashion!!

I heard from her mother Cindee . . .

that Posie is also a persistent and prolific paper artist!! :)

Story has it . . .

that she can make just about anything with paper, scissors, markers and tape . . .
and that she once made her father an entire ensemble . . .
hat, tie, wallet, flip flops, glasses and a mustache! :)

Cindee also mentioned that her daughter is fun to the core . . .
and along with fashion - also loves music, dissecting tv talent competitions,
is a level 4 gymnast for her local Gymanstics Team,
and loves playing “Waiting for You” on the piano.

It seems that Posie is a girl with many, many talents . . .
she is loved dearly by her wonderful family . . .
is sweet and beautiful to the core . . .
and yes - she definitely has an eye for fashion!! :)

We are so glad to meet you miss Posie!!!

Posie looked beautiful in her new coat . . . 
but just as importantly - it FIT her perfectly!! :)

Miss Cyrinne . . .

Sweet, Sweet Cyrinne . . .

pretty as can be - as if she was

touched by an angel . . .

here she is in the Garden Dress in Cream hemp . . .

soft to the touch . . . and comfortable to wear . . .

The Garden Dresses are available in our regular sizes 4 - 7 . . .
but can also be special ordered in a sizes 2 and 3 . . .

which is perfect for the little ones!!

Miss Cyrinne is my friend's daughter . . .

and she is not only pretty . . . but is also sweet, charming . . .

and is also one of the most girlie-girls I have ever met . . .
she has her mother and father's love . . .
as well as a sweet little sister trying to be just like her!!

her mother says she is not only sweet and very loved . . .
but is also tons of fun . . . a bit emotional . . . sure of herself . . .
outgoing . . . and also very friendly!!
She also says that Cyrinne definitely has a first child personality . . .
and takes things very seriously . . .
like taking care of her sweet little sister . . .
it's as if she is in charge already!! :)

All I know . . . is that we all LOVE this little girl . . .

just beautiful . . . and oh so very sweet!!!

I hear from her mother Katie . . .

that Sweet Audrey is incredibly artistic, musical, creative and of course . . .

a bit dramatic (love this) . . .

and - she has an incredible passion when picking out what to wear. :)

So glad to meet you miss Audrey!!!

here in Seattle this last Saturday . . .

It was such a special day . . .

truly one of the best market days ever!!

I want to personally thank all of the customers
